Since the game’s inception, the players have been shrouded with the mystery of the game’s story; that is why Cliff Beszinski, a member of the development staff, promises that the last installment will hope to answer all of the fans’ questions regarding the whole world of Gears of War. The game’s story was written by Karen Traviss, a renowned science fiction author.
Gears of War 3 Epic Edition promises to offer a whole new dimension of gaming possibilities that involve many new elements to surely keep the fans wanting for more. For the first time in the whole game saga, Gears of War 3 Epic Edition will feature an all new cooperative mode of up to four players at the same time. On selected parts of the game, the players will be able to pilot a new mech suit called the silverback. The suit can function in two modes: stationary mode, which makes use of its defenses while standing still, and; the assault mode, which functions like the player character. There will be new enemies in the game as well, which include the Kantus Knight, the Digger Boomer, the Savage Grenadier and the Locust Siege Beast. The Lambent will also feature new enemies, like the Lambent Berserkers, the Drudges, the Polyps, and the Lambent Stalks. On top of that, there will be new weapons, like the Digger Launcher, the Sawed-off Shotgun, and the One Shot. Finally, the game will most likely feature new characters that will be voiced by well-known stars like Michael Jordan, Claudia Black and Ice-T.
